Program Manager

What you will contribute to our brand

As a program manager, you oversee different individual projects and make sure the multiple, often related, projects are managed in a coordinated way. You are responsible for overseeing the achievement of our larger organizational goals. Programs in the area of construction, concept optimalisation, and maintenance are led by you with strong attention to the company strategy, implementation, and delegation. You’ll take leadership and will focus on continuous improvement and innovation opportunities. You will liaise with partners and suppliers for optimal procurement conditions and quality of goods. Your decisions, analysis and work will directly impact our performance short and long term.

Position goals & objectives

  • Drive and steer the strategic roll-out of our concept within time, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate suppliers and local Project Managers to deliver on overall planning and project quality.
  • Planning and designing programs and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.
  • Ensure execution of project plans, on time, budget, resources, and quality standards.
  • Actively advise about project and concept. improvements with regards to design, quality and efficiency.
  • Generate and implement efficient sourcing and procurement management strategies.
  • Examine and test existing contracts.
  • Advise operations team in securing optimal technical availability in case of issues and continuous preventive maintenance.
  • Strong contribution in multi-year maintenance plan, team structure and budgets.
  • Actively use data in decision-making processes.

Your skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • Flexible to work at different locations when needed
  • Driver’s license B.
  • 5+ years’ experience in and advanced management role in a related field (preference given to those with program management experience).
  • Experience within the retail or construction industry is a plus.
  • Experience in partnering with external suppliers and contractual conditions.
  • Excellent Project Management competencies and analytical skills.
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
  • Profound knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programs.

  • Process oriented, self-starter, autonomous and with pragmatic, result driven approach.
