Today we celebrate WORLD TOILET DAY!

A toilet is not just a toilet. It’s a life-saver, dignity-protector, an opportunity-maker, a moment of well-being. Whoever you are, wherever you are, sanitation is your human right. And yet, today, 4.2 billion people live without safely managed sanitation.

A few weeks ago Marielle Romeijn had the pleasure to meet Jack Sim, founder of The World Toilet Organization and the man behind the World Toilet Day. Jack brings international attention to the importance of global sanitation and fights to ensure no one is left behind without access to safe toilets.
Donate to support Jack’s work at the World Toilet Organization at worldtoilet.org and leave no one behind!
