Eurocommercial chooses toilet concept with focus on well-being
Brussels, 11 September 2025 – Eurocommercial and ONE HUNDRED restrooms are joining forces to set a new standard for restrooms at Woluwe Shopping Center in Brussels. The completely new facilities officially opened today on level -1, offering visitors a smart, fresh and relaxing restroom experience.
The restrooms were inaugurated by Benjamin Frois, Country Director Belgium at Eurocommercial Properties, Raphaël Mahieu, Shopping Center Manager at Woluwe Shopping Center, Bram Gleichman, co-founder and CCO of ONE HUNDRED restrooms, and Nathalie Verheyen, Business Growth Manager at ONE HUNDRED restrooms.
Well-being, environmental awareness and inclusion are the three cornerstones of this innovative Dutch restroom concept, which is already known in Belgium for its partnerships with leading retail destinations. The aim of ONE HUNDRED restrooms is to transform the concept of the “toilet break” in high-traffic places such as shopping centres, train stations and highway service stations, from a stressful moment into a meaningful moment.
The new restroom facilities are designed with a modern, wellness-inspired atmosphere, combining comfort with functionality. Visitors are offered additional free well-being services, including the Keito health check, a trusted station that measures blood pressure, BMI, weight and height. There is also a hydration station that offers chilled and filtered drinking water. Visitors are invited to make a small contribution to water projects in developing countries, in collaboration with Made Blue and Roca’s We Are Water Foundation.
ONE HUNDRED restrooms integrates smart technology and responsible working practices throughout its operations. Each facility is designed with a focus on efficient water use, energy conservation and long-term circularity. During opening hours, ONE HUNDRED’s comfort crew assists visitors while keeping the restrooms clean.
